Daniel was born in Prescott and grew up in Bodcaw, Arkansas. After graduating from Bodcaw High School in 1981, he earned a degree in Biblical Studies from Central Baptist College and later a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity University.
Over the years, he has served churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. In June 2005, God led him and his family to First Baptist Church Damascus, where he has faithfully served as pastor ever since.
He and his wife, Gwenda, have four children, all of whom are married with families of their own. They especially enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
His heart for ministry is centered on preaching God’s Word, loving people, and encouraging individuals and families to grow in their faith and relationship with Christ.
