At First Baptist Church Damascus, we believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and the foundation for our faith and daily lives. We believe in one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave, and offers salvation to all who repent and place their faith in Him.
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ and not by our own works. As a church, our mission is to share the Gospel, lead people to Christ, and help believers grow in their faith and relationship with Him.
First Baptist Church Damascus is a diverse and welcoming congregation with people from many different backgrounds, united by our faith in Jesus Christ. We are affiliated with the Baptist Missionary Association of America, the Baptist Missionary Association of Arkansas, and the Greenbrier Baptist Missionary Association.
